2025 Pamplona Bullfight Tickets
If two events symbolize the festival of San Fermin, it’s the running of the bulls and daily bullfights. Organized by La Casa de Misericordia, the Pamplona bullfights have taken place for more than 500 years, and feature renowned matadors who duel with bulls from the most prestigious breeders
Bullfighting is a longstanding tradition in Spain – a spectacle that is both beloved and criticized. The art of dancing around and ultimately slaying a bull has strict rules and regulations. Matadors undergo years of training before they can master the act of taunting and testing a bull for agility, performance, and strength.
If you’re visiting Pamplona for the Running of the Bulls 2024, this is a grand opportunity to witness a centuries-old tradition that is at once mesmerizing and jolting. In the Plaza de Toros, you’ll be surrounded by Pamplona bullfight aficionados, all flying high on homemade liquor common in Basque Country. Only local residents have access to season passes, which means that Pamplona bullfight tickets are in limited supply. Fortunately, you’ve come to the right place, as we are the only secondary market for season ticket holders. |
Our Pamplona tour packages include bullfight tickets to Sombra (shade) and Sol (sun) sections of the stadium. Since only 1,000 bullfight tickets are available each day, you can expect to pay a premium for either class of ticket.
Scalpers have been banned during the fiesta, but some still sell tickets, some of them counterfeit, to unsuspecting visitors who are eager to witness bullfighting in Pamplona.
The San Fermin Fiesta features ten evenings of bullfights, locally known as “corridas.” These are held every day from 5th to the 14th of July, at 6:30 p.m. in the Plaza de Toros.
As a precursor to the main event, there is a bullfight with young bulls and apprentice matadors on July 5th, and a spectacular bullfight on horseback called the “corrida de rejones” held on July 6th.

Tradition of the Corridas
Each traditional bullfight has three main stages, the first of which is the paseillo, where all the matadors enter the ring and present themselves to the public. The matadors and their mounted lancers take their places, and a bull is released into the stadium.
There are three bullfighters in each corrida, and each of them fights two bulls. In the first act, the bullfighter uses a cape to goad the bull and earn the respect of the audience. Then two picadores enter the arena on horseback, followed by banderilleros who toss darts into the animal’s sides as it charges past.
In the last act, the matador flourishes a small red cape and attempts to make a clean kill using a sharp sword. Every year, awards are bestowed for the bravest bull of the week, and fighting bulls that displayed the best performance during the festival.

The Pamplona bullfights are famous not only for their fierce matadors and noble bulls, but for the lively San Fermin social clubs, who claim the Sol side of the arena. These fun-loving spectators are notorious for their silly antics, food fights, and general love for partying.
